Canister Vacuum Cleaners

A canister vacuum is a type of vacuum cleaner that consists of a canister (or tank) connected to a long wand and a hose. The canister holds the motor and filter while the wand and hose are used to reach and clean different surfaces. Canister vacuums are typically more versatile than upright vacuums because they can be used to clean not only carpets and floors, but also upholstery, stairs, and other hard-to-reach places. They tend to be lighter and more compact than upright vacuums, making them easier to maneuver and store. Canister vacuums are also generally quieter than upright vacuums because the motor is housed in the canister, further away from the user.
